When I hit 40, my own mortality hit me square in the face. I was already halfway around the track — and it got me thinking. Am I doing everything I can, not just to add years to my life, but to add life to my years?
Then, before we knew it, we both hit 50. And like everyone else at this stage, we found ourselves looking for the lost step, the energy that used to just be there — and stuck on the same question: am I doing everything I can? What does the science actually say?
So I went on a quest. Reading the literature. Watching the talks. Working through the podcasts — chasing real information, not marketing. I bought things off TikTok. I combed the aisles at Sprouts and Vitamin Cottage looking for the concoction that would put the bounce back in my step.
But there were too many blends. Too many fads. Too many promises. And I kept thinking: can I just get the real stuff that works? The way you'd want a news source that just gives you the news.
